Boy Scout Troop 7 is a Boy Led Troop.  The scouts are formed into patrols that work together.  There are many opportunities for scouts to work in leadership roles within the troop, either as a member of the senior patrol, as an individual patrol leader, or in one of various other leadership roles within the troop. Weekly Troop meetings, and Monthly Committee (Parent) meetings are held in our unique Scout cabin at Our Lady of Good Hope Church.  We have a full year calendar filled with many types of activities and camping experiences for our scouts, as well as several service opportunities, and fund raising efforts.

Court of Honor:
- Annual Court of Honor - Troop 7 recognizes all of the achievements (ie: rank advancements, merit badges earned, and any special awards) of each scout in the troop at an annual ceremony presented by the scouts and leaders within the troop.  In addition to the ceremony, we have a family picnic, and entertainment/activities presented by the scouts as well.
- Eagle Scout Court of Honor - Presented by the scouts of Troop 7, and hosted by the family of the scout earning this highest rank in Boy Scouts.
We also participate in many service projects several times during the year, including:
Highway Cleanup - Brown Deer Road from Hwy 57 to Hwy 43 (3 Times Per Year)
Memorial Day Mass and Flag Raising Ceremony (May)
Scouting for Food (March) - Scouts put bags out 1st weekend, collect bags, and box up food at Glendale Fire Station the following weekend
Scout Service Projects - Scouts plan and lead a service project for advancement to Star and Life rank
Eagle Scout Service Projects - Individual Scouts plan and lead their council approved Service Project for advancement to Eagle rank

Opportunities for fund raising:
Required - Benefiting the General Troop Fund - (TBD as needed)
Optional - Benefiting the Scouts Individual Camp Credit Accounts - Holiday Wreath Sales and Popcorn Sales

Bylaws:
Troop 7 runs in accordance with it's Bylaws. Each scout agrees to follow the rules set forth by the troop committee. The Bylaws are reviewed and updated by the troop committee as necessary. 

Calendar Planning:
Troop 7 Plans a calendar of meetings and events on an annual basis.  With input from the scouts, the troop committee plans meeting dates, campouts, service dates, etc, and all are posted on the Events Calendar for the year.
